Salem For Refugees relies heavily on volunteers to accomplish our mission. We are always looking for new people from the Salem area who want to join our volunteer teams and impact the lives of our new neighbors.
Join us on the first Monday of each month from 12pm - 1pm to stay educated on what is happening with refugee resettlement in Salem and engaged in welcoming our newest neighbors. Learn More

Form a Good Neighbor Team
Good Neighbor Teams are designed to provide a warm welcome and hospitality to our New Neighbors. Teams range from 3-10 people who are assigned to a newly arriving family. Learn More
Salem For Refugees coordinates donations of furniture and home goods to outfit the homes of incoming refugees. To donate household items or furniture, review this list of accepted items and email Josiah.
Resource Teams are teams of volunteers who work around a specific resource area and provide services for refugee families in the areas of employment, housing, education, legal, etc. Learn More
